Story: This ring was created inspired by my love for astrology, specifically vedic astrology. There are two nodes in vedic astrology – south and north that indicate two different entities with distinct characteristics but part of a common body (Rahu and Ketu).
Astronomically, Rahu and Ketu denote the points of intersection of the paths of the Sun and the Moon as they move on the celestial sphere. Therefore, Rahu and Ketu are respectively called the north and the south lunar nodes. As per Vedic astrology Rahu and Ketu have an orbital cycle of 18 years and are always 180 degrees from each other orbitally. We’ve symbolically placed the two stones in the ring at 180 degrees from each other.
